dc.description.abstract | This study was designed to assess the impact of training on staff performance in Dashen
Bank S.C. The methodologies used to undertake the study involved both primary and
secondary data collection instruments. The study found out that there is a strong corelation
between targeted staff training and job performance. Close and systematic integration of staff
training with performance planning and evaluation could maximize the benefits of training in
terms of enhancing the efficiency of both the individual staff members as well as the
organization. Thus, strategic investment in staff training remains crucial for Dashen bank's
continued growth and adaptation in the competitive banking sector. The study, through an
investigation of the link between staff training and staff performance, seeks to contribute to
the body of knowledge on the need for and modalities of strategic investment in performance
driven staff development by all organizations, particularly the dynamic banking sector in
