dc.description.abstract | The study examines the practical Challenges and Prospects of Agent-Banking: the case of commercial bank Ethiopia. The main objective of this study was to assess practical Challenges faced by Agent-Banking, identify opportunities for its development, and provide recommendations for successful implementation. The data was gathered through a questionnaire completed by 62 employees. A mixed-methods approach is adopted incorporating both quantitative and qualitative techniques. Collected data is analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for quantitative analysis and thematic coding for qualitative insights. Descriptive statistics, regression and the relationships between key variables within the proposed conceptual framework. Finding indicated challenge including limited customer awareness, inadequate network infrastructure, resistance to technological changes, and low levels of trust in the system. And it will provide valuable recommendations for CBE on addressing challenges to adoption of agent banking and leveraging opportunities for enhanced delivery of affordable services. The study aims to contribute towards increased financial inclusion. By implementing these recommendations can enhance financial inclusion, operational efficiency, and contribute to the economic development of Ethiopia | en_US |
