Abstract: | This study focuses on assessing communication management practices within COVID-19 Emergency Response Project. The purpose of this study is to find out communication management factors that influence project management effectiveness. A comprehensive analysis of project communication management practices are assessed using a mixed approach and descriptive research design. A five-point Likert scale-based questionnaire was used to collect data from 49 participants, including project managers, project team members, support staff, and technical advisors. The findings demonstrate that the COVID-19 Emergency Response Project's communication management practices are good. Project professionals have a strong knowledge base in communication areas such as project communication and communication technologies. The implementation of the project communication management process and appropriate communication channels were found to significantly affect the effectiveness of project management. The findings also confirm that formal and informal communication channels can aid in the improvement of the project management process and importance of carefully evaluating different communication channels in project management settings and choosing those that are most appropriate and effective for the given context and objectives are crucial. The study recommended that ensuring proper and effective project communication through good personal contact with team members and stakeholders, developing positive relationships and positive communication is so compulsory for effective project management. |
