dc.description.abstract | This study intended to Assessment of employee’s turnover intention to leave: the case of
Addis Ababa investment commission. The study was conducted to assess factors affecting
employee turnover intention in AAIC. The study was conducted using both primary and
secondary sources of information. Primary data was generated though questionnaire and
interview. Research design used in this study was both quantitative and qualitative
analysis method. Total population was used in this research the targeted population was
the employees AAIC which consisted a sample size of 100 employees from 112 total
population of employee,12 of employees cannot participate by different reason. The
study finding suggests that Staff turnover caused by lack of existence of good
relationship between employees with each other and managers in the organization,
absence of adequate payment, working condition is another cause of staff turnover, lack
of opportunities for training and development, employee input was not appreciated in the
organization also cause of employ turnover and lack of work challenge in the
organization are cause of staff turnover. The findings highlighted that When an
organization loses a critical employee, there is negative impact on work load for each
employee or unnecessary pressure on staff that are at work and major delays in the
delivery of services to customers may occur and it impact on too much wastage of
resources when new staff settles in the organization, and reduction in work productivity
or service provision. The recommendations highlighted that management should develop
opportunities for career advancement in AAIC Limited. . | en_US |
