dc.description.abstract | The study tried to evaluate the major function of project management information system and assess its contribution towards project success in Bank of Abyssinia S.C. The study was used the mixed approach. That means both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used. This study was designed based on explanatory research design. The researcher applied both primary and secondary data source by using various data gathering tools and techniques. The primary data was collected through questionnaire and interview whereas the secondary data collect through document review. Researcher used census or total target population. After all the information was collected, the data was summarized, analyzed and presented through different methods. The data analysis method chose based on the type of data used and the nature of the research the research questions and objectives of the study. In this study both quantitative and qualitative data analysis method is employed.Project management information system found to have direct impacts on project success, as it contribute to improving budget control and meeting project deadlines as well as fulfilling technical specifications. Having this in consideration, this study tries to analyze the significance of Project Management Information System (PMIS) functions in facilitating project success in the case of Bank of Abyssinia. | en_US |
