dc.description.abstract | The study focused on the effect of training practice on employee`s job satisfaction in the case of technical, vocational educational and training sector (TVET). The overall objective of the study is to determine the effect of training practice on employee`s job satisfaction. The study adopted quantitative approach and used both primary and secondary data sources. The primary data collected from tegbared poly technic college, lideta manufacturing college and kolfe industrial college through self-administered questionnaire for 286 competent employee`s and middle level managers through simple random sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed by using statistical tools (SPSS-Version 26). Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for the data analysis. The descriptive statistics such as frequency, percent and mean were used for describing the demographic characteristics of respondents and the dependent and independent variables. The inferential statistics like Pearson correlation coefficient(r) and multiple regression were used to determine if there is relationship existed between independent and dependent variables (training practice and employee`s job satisfaction). The findings indicated that training practice were positively correlated and statistically significant relationship with employee`s job satisfaction. Even if The study concluded that training practice have positive effect on employee`s job satisfaction. Hence, the researcher recommended that the training practice in TVET should be highly kept under periodic review with appropriate assessment of the organization’s need and identify the skill, knowledge, and educational back ground of the individuals. | en_US |
