Abstract: | This study attempted to assess the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at ALERT. The purpose of the study is to investigate the significance of the parameters (factors), used as indicator at this paper work. The parameters used at this work are the influence of pay, promotion, supervision, co-workers and the work itself on job satisfaction. The study also benefits the researcher to learn the degree of the effect of each parameter, or the factors sum up contribution on overall performance of organization and the employees themselves job satisfaction. The study is conducted by collecting Primary data From ALERT by means of close ended questionnaire by quantitative method. The sampling method is random selection from different departments those are available to respond. However, for convenience of mitigating language barrier and to meet the Taro Yamane (1973) formula the sample size is determined to focus on employees with minimum education level of diploma and work experience of 7 years and above. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and ANOVA, by means of SPSS version 20. Cronbach’s coefficient alpha was used and the result showed that Cronbach alpha coefficient of α = 0.808 confirming the reliability of the data collecting instrument. Generally, the finding of the study revealed that the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance had felt between moderate to strong significant. Though, further researches are needed to verify the consistency of the result, by the same approaching method or other means of assessing approach. On other hand, this study may give some clue that may enhance the leaders in order to improve the work Situation more attractive. |
