dc.description.abstractBankofAbyssiniaisoneofthelargestfinancialinstitutionsandoneofthemajoremployersin Ethiopia.ThepurposeofthisstudywastoassesstheattitudeofemployeestowardsFemale managers’managerialjobperformanceatAbyssiniaBankheadoffice.Descriptivesurveywas adoptedforthestudyinvolvingbothqualitativeandquantitativetechniques,inaddition frequency,percentage,meanandaggregatedmeanwereusedtoanalyzethedata.Thestudyused censussamplingtechniqueswhereall97employeesunderthesupervisionoffemalemanagers andteam leadersand14femalemanagesandteam leadersparticipatedonthestudy.The researcherusedprimarydataandgatheredthem intheform ofquestionerandinterview.The result indicated that employee have positive attitude towards planning, organizing, communication,motivation,managingconflict,monitoringandevaluationandproblemsolving. Howevertherearenegativeattitudetowardssupervision,leadershipanddecisionmaking.In conclusion,theresearchhasinformedthepresenceofbothpositiveandnegativeperceptionson theexisting managerialjob performancesatAbyssiniaBank accordingly,theresearcher recommendedthebanktoconducttrainingandexperiencesharingprograms.Furthermore, problemsolvingtechnique,programevaluation,motivatetechniques,effectivecommunications, formingandmanagingeffectiveteamswerepointedouttobethenecessaryskillstobeacquired inordertobea good manager.en_US
