dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to assess the key challenge in the implementation of integrated infrastructure project management system among major utilities service providers, AACRA and AAIIPCA, in the case of Addis Ababa. The need for this study is considered relevant and necessary for Addis Ababa as a capital city of Africa and significant contribution in reducing the scarce resource wastage. Although, integrated infrastructure project management system is a complex task which requires appropriate organizational capacity and cooperation between numerous stakeholders in the private and public sectors .The study scope mainly encompasses institutional, technological, planning and strategic aspect to identify the key challenges. The study employed both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, documentary review, and observation. The results revealed that current institutional poor information and technological capacity and lack of central database the tools which support the accelerated and informed decision making and effective information and data exchange has become significantly challenge in implementing effective and integrated infrastructure project management system. | en_US |
