dc.description.abstract | This paper is aimed to assess the effect of different leadership style on employee job performance in Ethiopia agricultural investment land administration agency. The study identified the three leadership styles namely autocratic, democratic, and transformational and how they related in enhancing employee performance. Based on the objective and research questions the data was collected through questionnaire, interview and researcher personal observation. The data collected from employee and leader was analyzed and interpreted to make it meaningful and easily understandable. The finding of the study revealed that autocratic leadership style was the most commonly practiced leadership style and negatively associated with employee job performance in the organization. Whereas, democratic and transformational leadership were the least commonly used and had positive correlation with employee job performance in Ethiopia agricultural land investment agency. The result of the study revealed that employee job performance would be higher under democratic and transnational leadership and to be lowest under autocratic leadership. Hence, it is recommended that leaders should mostly practice democratic and transnational leadership style and autocratic leadership style should be used based up on the situation for better job performance. | en_US |
