dc.description.abstractThe HRM is said to be a nervous system of any organization. It coordinates and controls each and every activity either directly or indirectly for the purpose of organizational development and growth. Among all the tools of HRM, performance management is a system that ensures and maintains the proper flow of life blood in every section and unit of organization, which is human capital (person’s knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities). Achieving effective performance of human resources is primary goal of every organization. In this regard, performance management practice of human resource management provides the sound basis of evaluating and developing employee performance in order to get enhanced organizational success. Similar to any organization, universities or higher education institutions evaluate their employees or teachers performance for effective human resource management.en_US
