Abstract: | The quality of service delivery of any organization depends on the presence of devoted and well talented employees. Employees are the main sources for organizations to meeting the company objectives. Therefore, giving emphasis for employees becomes a big issue in any organizations. Having this in mind, the present study aimed to see the perceived causes of employee’s turnover in Shints ETP Garment plc. Theoretical framework and models of other scholars were used by modifying in our country context to know the real causes of turnover. Qualitative and quantitative approaches are used. In order to collect primary data, a self-completed questionnaire was designed and administered to ex - employees of the organization. In addition, interview was conducted with HR manager of the company. The SPSS version 20 for windows is used to process the primary data was collected through questionnaire. This study adopted a descriptive methodology. The findings show that employee turnover is caused by uncontrollable and controllable variables including demographic factors. Therefore, the company should implement different strategies to retain their employees. In Shints ETP Garment the major finding is salary and it is controllable. Because of low salary the employees are derived to leave the company. Thus, the management should increase the payment by compared with company paying capacity and with other competitive company’s it helps to retain the employees in the company. |
