Abstract: The purpose of the study is to assess the relationship between organizational culture and employee commitment at equatorial business group (EBG). The study employed explanatory research design and quantitative research approach. Simple random sampling method was used to select the sample size of 197 numbers from each department of the 385 population. Standard close ended questioners extracted from Allen and Meyer’s standard questioner known as organizational commitment questionnaire (OCQ) and Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) which is developed by Kim Cameron and Robert Quinn were used as a data collection instrument. The correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment. Based on the data analysis the following outcomes were proved: Employees are not pleasant about the existing hierarchal culture; they prefer it to be clan next to adhocracy culture. The findings also indicate that there is both negative and positive relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment. Therefore, the outcome of the research suggests that organizational culture is the most important element in controlling the direction of the organizational commitment
