dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between HRM practices with employee turnover intention and organizational commitment. HRM practices particularly addressed three dimensions: Training and Development, Reward and Compensation and Performance management. The data were collected from employees of Nyala Insurance Share Company (NISCO) in Ethiopia. 80 questionnaires were disturbed into the respondent and 75 questionnaires were returned, and one open ended questionnaire was completed and returned by the HR manager of NISCO. Data was analysed using “Statistical Package for Social Science” (SPSS). Correlation analysis was used to analyse the data. The findings show evidence of that there is significant and positive or negative correlation between three independent variables of human resource practices toward turnover intention and organizational commitment. The findings shows that that there were relationship between the independent variables HRM practices and were positive or negative relationships between HRM practices and organizational commitment/ turnover intention dependent variables. Finally, the researcher has developed a conceptual framework based on the literature reviews, and from there the researcher constructed the research`s hypothesis. Foundation on the result, conclusion, recommendation and suggestions for future research are also highlighteden_US
