dc.description.abstractHuman resource management (HRM) is concerned with getting better result with the collaboration of people.Human resources are one of the most valuable resources of an organization and indeed an organization is nothing without human resources. Getting and keeping good people is critical to the success of every organization. This study investigates the Practices and Challenges of human resource management in Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia. Furthermore the study assessed detail HRM practices of Hamlin Fistula, evaluated major challenges of HRM and forwarded possible recommendations for problems identified in the study. This study discovered gaps in HRM practices especially with regards to recruitment and selection; training and development, and compensation policies and procedures of the Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia head office and Desta Mender-rehabilitation center- which is organized under the head Office in the out skirt of Addis Ababa particular KolfeKeranio Sub city.To achieve this purposethe descriptive research design should employ by following survey approach and questionnaire a Likert scale of 5 levels listing questions were distributed to a sample of 107 People out of the total population 357.Therelevant data was collected from 95 staff members who work at head office and Desta Mender. The gaps which were observed in the HRM practices were investigated descriptively by using quantitative data analysis method. The collected data is analyzing using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).This paper is expected to describe and disclose how, when and what of staff Compensation, Training and development, Recruitment and Selection practice are managed, executed and existing in the Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia. It also provides important recommendations regarding staff Compensation, Training and development, Recruitment and Selection Policy.en_US
